MKR Fabrication, a subsidiary of Palladyne AI, is a heavy fabrication and weld shop specializing in manufacturing heavy duty, complex components for the mining, agricultural, aerospace, and defense industries. Responsibilities

• Read technical drawings to prepare for and plan welds
• Construct base templates
• Put materials together within tolerances and tack weld
• Inspect and test weld results
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane
• Document welds for projects as necessary
• Maintain safe work environment by following safety processes and procedures
• Inspect and ensure equipment functionality and safety before use
• Record production in ERP – JobBOSS2

Requirements

• Five years of fabrication experience
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Pass AWS tests performed by employee
• Must be able to effectively read blueprints/drawings
• Understand tolerances
• Microsoft Office literate
• Jobboss2 enterprise resource planning system experience is a plus
• MIG and TIG preferred
• Sub Arc is a plus
• Aluminum and specialty metals experience is a plus
