Overview

STAP Industries is a small but growing manufacturer of tooling and ground support equipment (GSE) for the aviation industry. We take pride in producing high-quality parts that keep airlines flying safely and value hard work, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving in every aspect of our shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Fit, assemble, and prepare metal parts for welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years TIG welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Proficiency welding aluminum and stainless steel required.
• Ability to read technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player who works well with others in a collaborative shop environment.
• Flexible and willing to take on tasks outside of welding.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
