Overview
The position is for a MIG and/or TIG Welder with fabrication skills, primarily working with carbon and stainless steel, as well as various aluminum grades. The role requires the ability to read shop drawings, operate cranes, and ensure adherence to welding codes and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding processes.
- Work with carbon and stainless steel and various aluminum material grades.
- Fit, tack, and weld assemblies made of different aluminum grades.
- Use grinders and sanders to achieve required finishes.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Understand welding symbols.
- Position parts in jigs and fixtures for correct dimensions.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, pallet jacks, and fork trucks.
Requirements
- Previous MIG and/or TIG welding experience with heavy metal fabrication experience.
- Ability to read specifications and drawings.
- Knowledge of materials.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Additional Information
- Work hours are Mon – Thurs 6:30am – 4:00pm and Fri 6:30-10:30.
- Pay is up to $31.00 an hour depending on experience.
