Overview

$5,000 Sign on Bonus. Clean Harbors is seeking an AWS 3G Certified Welder to join our Baltimore, MD manufacturing team, focusing on fabricating and welding hazardous waste transportation containers in a safety-first environment using MIG welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform AWS 3G welding on carbon steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Operate MIG welding equipment; set up and maintain welding machines.
• Safely operate a forklift for material handling.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment based on job site analysis.
• Layout, cut and fit using measuring tapes, bandsaws, grinders, hoists, and assembly fixtures.
• Set up welding equipment for weld procedures.
• Maintain compliance with Clean Harbors safety protocols.
• Keep work area clean and organized; report equipment issues promptly.

Requirements

• AWS 3G Welding Certification (required).
• Forklift Certification (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1+ year welding experience; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to pass additional welding test and respirator fit test preferred.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights with proper fall protection.
