Overview

Westaff is hiring an Aluminum TIG Welder in Methuen, MA, responsible for performing TIG welding on aluminum components and ensuring quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum components.
• Set up welding equipment, select appropriate filler rods, and adjust amperage and flow for aluminum welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to determine weld requirements.
• Inspect materials and completed welds for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting aluminum parts prior to welding.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Requirements

• Ability to weld a thickness of .060 (1/16).
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.
• Compensation: $25-$28 based off experience.
