Overview

Taylor Oilfield Mfg., Inc is looking for a self-motivated, organized and dependable fitter/welder with a customer satisfaction outlook to join our team. This position will entail fabricating and welding a multitude of various parts and weld repair of existing parts.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld various parts.
• Perform weld repair of existing parts.
• Cut and fit materials for assigned projects.
• Operate forklifts and overhead crane safely.
• Read and execute written work instructions effectively with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Must be able to read dimensional drawings proficiently and understand weld callouts.
• Experience welding mild steels (A-36, A572, 1018) and aluminum alloys (5052 & 6061).
• Must have GMAW, FCAW & GTAW experience and be able to pass ASME weld testing.
• Experience with light manual machining, drilling, milling preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math skills and be able to tape measure accurately.
• Must have the ability to safely handle and operate power hand tools (grinders, drills, saws, etc.).
