Overview

For over 35 years, ISC has provided safe, high quality electrical, instrumentation and controls solutions to global leading industrial manufacturers. We are looking for positive, energetic welders with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Select appropriate equipment, plan layouts, assemble materials, and weld materials together.
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys.
• Apply knowledge of geometry and understand physical properties of metal machining.
• Weld shrinkage and different welding techniques.
• Practice welding in accordance with OSHA regulations and standards.

Requirements

• TWIC card required.
• Ability to successfully pass the G3 and G4 plate test.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
