Overview
The Welding Engineer (Entry Level) position at Premier Technology involves overseeing and implementing welding processes, ensuring quality standards, and improving production efficiency. The role requires collaboration with design, production, and quality assurance teams to meet industry standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Help with design, development, and implementation of welding techniques, procedures, and applications.
- Oversee welding inspections, testing, and certification processes.
- Manage welding-related aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
- Provide technical guidance and support to welding personnel and other departments.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance welding efficiency.
- Train and mentor welding staff on new techniques and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records of welding procedures and inspection results.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct risk assessments.
- Promote professionalism and safety as a cultural value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in welding engineering or a related role.
- Certified Welding Engineer (CWE) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG, SMAW) and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Experience with CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams.

- Regular, predictable, and on-site attendance is essential.
