Overview

At Wis-Pak, located in Hattiesburg, MS, we are a leading manufacturer behind popular beverage brands like Pepsi-Cola and Mountain Dew. We are seeking a Maintenance Fabricator/Welder to ensure our production environment operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Responding quickly to maintenance calls and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Repairing and replacing machinery and components with care and safety
• Performing preventative maintenance and documenting work clearly
• Handling start-up and shutdown procedures for equipment
• Tackling bench repairs, fabrication projects, and building maintenance
• Using power tools, hand tools, welding and cutting equipment, and aerial lifts
• Keeping the workspace clean, organized, and safe
• Following all plant, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Reporting unsafe conditions and maintaining a culture of safety

Requirements

• Four years of technical school or equivalent experience
• Strong PLC and electrical knowledge
• Solid background in manufacturing maintenance
• Willingness to take the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test
• Ability to attend and travel to technical training as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English

• Shift/Work Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Pay range: $33.10/hr
