Overview
As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding, positioning, aligning, and fitting miscellaneous steel components according to technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring that they meet design specifications and quality standards.

- Weld, position, align, and fit miscellaneous steel components according to technical drawings and blueprints.
Requirements
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic metalworking machinery.
- Knowledge of shop machines and sand tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, grinding, and drilling.
- Proficient in welding flux core and/or hard wire.
- Knowledge of basic weld symbols.
- Basic knowledge of drawings.
- Knowledge of welding equipment and their settings.
- D1.1 certified flux core and hard wire.
- Advanced knowledge of weld symbols.
- Able to troubleshoot welding equipment and perform minor repairs.
- Correct unsatisfactory welds.
- Ability to train lower level welders.
- Quality check welds.
- Ability to weld multiple material types.
- Knowledge and understanding of heat affected area and its reaction to base metal.
- Identify and perform corrective actions.
- Ability to interpret and understand blueprints and drawings.
