Overview
We are seeking a skilled Precision Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, particularly in precision sheet metal work, requiring attention to detail and proficiency in using various tools and equipment to fabricate high-quality metal components.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Utilize various metalworking techniques to fabricate precision sheet metal components according to specifications.
- Use saws, lasers, and other cutting tools to cut and shape metal sheets to the required dimensions.
- Operate press brake and other forming equipment to bend and shape metal sheets accurately.
- Perform aluminum and stainless steel sheet metal welding (TIG).
- Finish metal surfaces using grinding, sanding, and polishing techniques to achieve desired smoothness and appearance.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure they remain in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in precision sheet metal work or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Particular skill working with thin gauge aluminum and stainless steel is a plus.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques and equipment.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Experience with welding and other joining techniques.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certifications in metalworking, welding, or related fields are preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus.

Additional Information
- Ideal candidate should reside within 30-minute commute of Frankford, DE.
- 40 hours per week, approximate.
- Non-union, non-smoking facility with Monday-Friday operating hours.
