Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies that meet strict industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal components and assemblies.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to shape and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <LOCATION> welding techniques to join metals securely according to ASME codes & standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and schematics to ensure dimensional accuracy of fabricated parts.
- Conduct rigging, pipe threading, plasma cutting, and assembly of ductwork or mechanical systems on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to crane operation, forklift handling, and the use of power tools.
- Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and <LOCATION> welding.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for fabrication projects.
- Ability to operate machinery such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and machining tools effectively.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to metal fabrication and welding practices.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement devices.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in rigging, pipe threading, soldering, assembly, and ductwork fabrication is highly desirable.
