Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for lay out, fits, welding, fabricating, casting, and forging components to assemble structural forms, building, and bridge parts. Responsibilities
- Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
- Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Sets up equipment and welds parts using various welding techniques.
- May assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
- May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
Requirements
- Four years of experience and appropriate welding certifications for the type of welds to be performed.
- Experienced in AWS (American Welding Society) certification.
- Proficient in MIG welding.
- Skilled in shielded metal arc welding.
- Knowledgeable in carbon air arcing.
- Experienced in oxy-fuel cutting.
- Familiar with grinding.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good verbal communication skills.

Additional Information
- Requires ordinary ambulatory skills to visit other locations.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity required.
