Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for lay out, fits, welding, fabricating, casting, and forging components to assemble structural forms, building, and bridge parts. Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts using various welding techniques.
• May assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.

Requirements

• Four years of experience and appropriate welding certifications for the type of welds to be performed.
• Experienced in AWS (American Welding Society) certification.
• Proficient in MIG welding.
• Skilled in shielded metal arc welding.
• Knowledgeable in carbon air arcing.
• Experienced in oxy-fuel cutting.
• Familiar with grinding.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.

Additional Information

• Requires ordinary ambulatory skills to visit other locations.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity required.
