Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects while ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality specifications.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding techniques to join metals accurately.
- Use hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
- Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience with a solid understanding of safety procedures and site protocols.
- Hands-on experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding, and stick welding techniques.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and rigging equipment.
- Must be able to lift 60lbs and work outdoors.
- Must be able to obtain accurate measurements for potential jobs.
- Welding experience of at least 1 year is required.
