Overview

Rock Valley Tanks is hiring a TIG welder to build stainless fuel tanks for high-end hot rods and custom vehicles. The ideal candidate will produce clean, consistent welds on thin stainless and work independently.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld stainless fuel tanks from start to finish
• Work primarily with thin gauge material—heat control is critical
• Produce clean, cosmetic welds on visible surfaces
• Perform leak/pressure testing and correct any issues
• Work alongside a small, experienced fabrication team

Requirements

• Ability to weld stainless cleanly and consistently
• Strong understanding of fit-up and distortion control
• Takes pride in quality—these tanks go into high-end builds
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work without supervision
• 2 years of welding experience preferred
