Responsibilities

• Operate resistance spot welding equipment to produce welded assemblies.
• Run assigned production jobs and perform required quality checks.
• Accurately report production activity and maintain a safe work environment.
• Load and position parts into fixtures and activate weld cycles.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance.
• Visually inspect welds for defects and notify supervision of issues.
• Record production counts, scrap, downtime, and labor entries.
• Meet established production efficiency and quality standards.
• Comply with quality system requirements for defect prevention.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in resistance spot welding or metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic including measurements and counting.
• Ability to recognize visible weld defects.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow standardized work procedures.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift materials up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Conform to all environmental policies and regulations.
