Overview

The Door Systems Welder position involves manual labor to build hollow metal door and frame products for commercial construction. The role reports directly to the Operations Manager and requires experience in welding and knowledge of construction products.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and work orders to assemble and construct products into specified shapes, sizes, and dimensions.
• Assemble and weld door and light frames, modifying frames as specified.
• Assemble, prep, and weld doors, modifying as specified.
• Receive, store, and stock products for distribution to customers.
• Pick, pack, and assemble orders for customers.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment during various processes.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: high school diploma.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in light gauge welding.
• Working knowledge of commercial construction and building products.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a daily basis.
• Knowledge of hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, or builder's hardware preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to maintain professional relationships.
