Overview

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Welder for a direct hire position in Greenfield, IN. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MIG welding processes and a strong understanding of metal fabrication, with additional consideration for those with TIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals according to specifications and blueprints
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Possess basic knowledge of welding safety standards and practices
• Have the physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MIG welding processes
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication
• Experience with TIG welding processes is preferred
• Ability to work with different materials such as stainless steel and aluminum
• Familiarity with additional fabrication tools and machinery
