Overview

Michelle Atkinson, President/Owner of Atkinson Doors & Hardware, is looking to hire a welder or carpenter for a full-time position. The company is a family-owned commercial door and hardware business that values hard work and great communication.

Responsibilities

• Welding hollow metal frames and modifying hollow metal doors for application of hardware.
• Modifying slab wood doors for application of hardware and glass windows.
• Loading delivery trucks with finished frames, doors, and hardware.
• Driving a forklift for delivery of material to jobsite and picking up freight.
• Responsible for organizing and storage of materials.
• Occasionally assisting installers in the field.

Requirements

• Must be 18+.
• Clean/acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred - minimal previous welding experience.
• Ability to understand architectural elevations and schematics.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must be able to lift 75lbs.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM.
• Limited flexibility with start time.
• Overtime available if desired.
