The Welder II position involves using welding equipment to join metal components and requires teamwork and adaptability in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow written and verbal communication or instruction.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly.
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Adapt to rapidly changing situations.
• Collaborate effectively and engage others in discussion.
• Quickly learn business processes to manage and serve organizational needs.
• Demonstrate a passion for getting things right.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Proficiency with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communication.
• Team-oriented with a can-do attitude.
