Overview

Ludwig Drilling LLC is seeking a Welder to execute welding tasks in accordance with safety policies and procedures. The role involves utilizing TIG and MIG welding processes to fabricate metal components as specified by blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes TIG and MIG welding processes to weld milled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Fabricates materials/parts/components according to blueprints.
• Prepares material for welding by cutting or grinding.
• Sets material in stands, racks, or hoists for welding.
• Buffs and grinds milled steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Properly utilizes hand tools and welding equipment.
• Executes vertical and horizontal welding tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in construction/drilling.
• 3 years of welding/fabrication experience (required).
• 1 year of experience reading and building off of shop drawings (required).
• Auger and Kelly Bar welding experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
