Overview

Afinitas, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a global leader in equipment and forming systems for the precast concrete infrastructure industry. They are hiring 2nd shift fabricators to manufacture capital equipment for the concrete solutions industry.

Responsibilities

• Interpret basic drawings, route sheets, specifications, and instructions.
• Set up and operate welding, brazing, and flame cutting equipment.
• Perform basic saw operations and painting as required.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and instruments.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units for defects and specifications conformance.
• Assist in detecting defective material and report to the supervisor.
• Complete necessary documentation for quality and production requirements.
• Participate in team meetings to resolve cost, quality, or production issues.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and interpret basic blueprints and specifications.
• Beginning-level grinding knowledge.
• Beginning-level experience in MIG, TIG, and flex core welding.
• Team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment.

Additional Information

• 2nd shift is Monday-Thursday from 2:45 pm to 12:45 am.
• $2 an hour shift differential.
