Overview
The Pipeline Construction Welder Helper assists with the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas projects. This full-time, seasonal position requires manual labor and welding duties in various weather conditions and offers competitive pay and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas projects.
- Perform general labor and welding duties such as digging, grinding, and buffing.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Clean and maintain construction tools and equipment.
- Load and unload equipment from trucks.
- Ensure safety and compliance protocols are followed.
- Lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physical tasks.
Requirements
- Previous related construction experience required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Previous natural gas project and welding experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with additional related certificates or training.
- Ability to work Monday-Saturday.
- Ability to travel.
- Must pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical.
