Overview

Tessiers Mechanical Contractors, a premier mechanical contractor in Sioux Falls, is seeking qualified candidates for the Entry Level Shop Helper/Welder/CDL Driver position. This role offers an opportunity to learn the sheet metal trade while working full-time in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen in fabrication, assembly, welding, and installation of sheet metal products and structures.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting.
• Load materials and equipment.
• Drive trucks with a CDL Class A or B license.
• Conduct general shop work and maintenance.
• Use hand tools and machinery, including forklifts.
• Travel outside of the shop as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-work physical assessment and drug screen.
• Basic computer skills.
• Math aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to bend, stand, and use hand tools and shop machinery.

Additional Information

• Full-time position with a typical 4-day work week from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. M-TH.
