Overview

Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution, seeking a Group Leader Welder to train and administer weld certifications to new and existing welders while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The position is based in Verona, VA, and involves working a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare welders to successfully pass weld certifications.
• Set and obtain daily goals to meet production requirements.
• Assist employees with process issues.
• Adjust manpower to meet goals and continue cross training processes.
• Fill in when needed to meet goals.
• Ensure product meets and conforms to quality standards.
• Evaluate employee work performance based on quality and production goals.
