Overview

POLYWOOD® is seeking a TIG Welder to join their Fabrication team, which is crucial in building the structural backbone of outdoor furniture. This role offers an opportunity to engage in precision work and contribute to creating durable, high-quality products in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum support structures and braces for POLYWOOD® furniture
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for aluminum fabrication
• Ensure weld strength, consistency, and clean finish quality
• Inspect completed welds and identify any defects or rework needs
• Maintain welding equipment and keep work area clean and organized
• Follow all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions

Requirements

• Experience with TIG welding, especially aluminum preferred
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable standing and working for 8 to 10+ hour shifts
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality
