Tradesmen International is hiring experienced Traveling MIG Welders for projects in Milwaukee, WI, offering a first shift opportunity with competitive pay and per diem for travelers. This position emphasizes safety, productivity, and craftsmanship, providing a chance to advance your career.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding.
• Weld Ibeams, frames, and fuel tanks in flat and overhead positions.
• Weld sheet metal from 10 gauge up to 1 inch.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind, or bolt component parts.
• Weld, position, and secure work pieces using hoist cranes, wire, banding machines, or hand-tools.
• Inspect products and equipment for defects and malfunctions.

Requirements

• Must pass various weld tests, competency tests, math tests, drug screen, and physical.
• Must be able to run one bead over side without stopping.
• Must be able to read measuring devices.
• Must have GMAW and MIG/MAG experience.
