Overview

The Temporary Welder/Fabricator supports the Operations Leads with District building maintenance and construction activities, including cutting, fabricating, and installing metal structures according to specifications. The role requires proven welding experience and the ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate, and install metal and other structures according to specifications.
• Fabricate and weld metal materials according to design and specifications.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Perform related work on weekends and overtime as required.
• Assist with measurements and calculations to determine materials needed.
• Construct and fabricate metal structures including walk-ways, platforms, screens, and other irrigation structures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator.
• Proven experience with welding materials.
• Understanding of welding techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Washington State Driver License with acceptable driving record.
• Acceptable criminal background record.
• Clean drug screen.
• First Aid Certification.
