Job Description

Overview

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for CR&O Structures Technicians in Bridgeport, WV. The role involves fabricating, modifying, and repairing aircraft structural components while adhering to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
  • Perform minor/major structural repairs.
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structure components.
  • Assist with complex structural repairs.
  • Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations as required.
  • Assist in providing time estimates as required.
  • Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experience.
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or component status.
  • Delegated Inspector qualifications preferred.
  • Certified Welder qualifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to train other employees.
  • Possess Sheet metal tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays.
  • Basic PC skills.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
