Overview
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for CR&O Structures Technicians in Bridgeport, WV. The role involves fabricating, modifying, and repairing aircraft structural components while adhering to safety and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
- Perform minor/major structural repairs.
- Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structure components.
- Assist with complex structural repairs.
- Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations as required.
- Assist in providing time estimates as required.
- Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experience.
- Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or component status.
- Delegated Inspector qualifications preferred.
- Certified Welder qualifications preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to train other employees.
- Possess Sheet metal tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools.
- Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays.
- Basic PC skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
