Overview

At ASI, we design and manufacture custom drying, curing, and cooling systems used in advanced manufacturing processes. As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a critical role in constructing custom industrial equipment, contributing to our reputation as an industry leader for over 40 years.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on structural steel and sheet metal components.
  • Fabricate frames, plenums, and ductwork for custom drying systems.
  • Rivet, drill, cut, and grind materials to meet design specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop standards, and welding instructions.
  • Measure and verify parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and equipment.
  • Support additional fabrication processes, including press brake, band saw, plasma table, drill press, and shears.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Welding training (technical program) or hands-on welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, bending, and climbing.
