With a commitment to continuous improvement and investment in state-of-the-art equipment, the company is expanding its facility and looking for a skilled Automated/Manual Weld Technician for the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Five years of welding experience OR Associate Degree in Welding, Automation or related field and three years of welding experience.
• Must be familiar with GMAW & GTAW.
• Experience/understanding of Plasma, Resistance/Projection, and/or Laser welding a plus.
• One year of experience working with automated welding equipment preferred.
• Experience with robot programming; Fanuc programming experience preferred.
• CWI or working toward certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret routine correspondence.
• Ability to write and record information.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
• The ability to work independently.

• Physical demands include standing and walking on concrete for up to eight hours per day.
• Ability to bend and lift up to fifty pounds between floor level and a height of five feet.
• Ability to bend and lift up to twenty pounds between floor level and a height of six feet five inches.
• Manual dexterity required for manipulating objects.
• Quality assurance responsibilities include performing visual inspections of material quality.
