The Welder role involves performing welding tasks with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on various projects safely and efficiently.
• Interpret blueprints and utilize various welding tools.
• Conduct initial quality checks to ensure work meets specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Comply with and promote safety policies and procedures.
• Weld structural components according to layouts and work orders.
• Identify and prepare materials for structural welding.
• Utilize welding tools, wire, and machines for cutting and other techniques.
• Troubleshoot issues by reviewing blueprints and implementing corrective actions.
• Perform initial QA/QC checks on completed work.
• Monitor and restock stock levels as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural welding.
• Proficient in the use of cutting torches, plasma arc, and cutting machines.
• Previous experience working from lifts or staging platforms.
• Prior rigging experience is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to success.
• Demonstrates professionalism and high-quality standards.
