Overview

Zajac is a Liquid Processing company specializing in high purity stainless piping systems for the food, beverage, and pharma industries. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to fabricate, assemble, and weld components according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring product quality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize welding techniques to fabricate components, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Employ basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on expertise in welding and fitting with a strong command of various welding techniques.
• Preferred familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Skilled in precision measurement.
• Highly detail-oriented with a steadfast commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Must be able to travel out of state 4-10 days at a time.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a must.
• Must live in Maine.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to the shop on Monday mornings for 6am.
