Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints effectively, playing a crucial role in the construction and fabrication of metal structures while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize Mig(GMAW) and Tig(GTAW) welding techniques.
• Set-up and run production weld equipment (manual and robotic).
• Interface with engineering to optimize welding robot programs.
• Operate cranes and other lifting equipment to position heavy materials safely during the welding process.
• Conduct inspections of completed welds using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in welding with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents related to welding projects.
• Familiarity with various power tools used in the welding process.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of soldering techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
