Overview

The Strainrite Companies is a fast-growing manufacturer of liquid filtration and separation equipment servicing the life sciences and beverage industries. They are seeking a detailed-oriented, dependable Fabrication Technician responsible for fabricating metal parts and conducting quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of tools including micrometers, rigging equipment, press brake machines, and power tools.
• Fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy.
• Perform sandblasting, assembly, cleaning, and painting using an automotive type paint gun.
• Conduct hydro pressure testing on all vessels.
• Package and prepare vessels for shipment.

Requirements

• Ability to use hand tools, fabrication, and metal forming tools.
• Ability to work well with others, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in basic math for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with operating micrometers for precise measurements.
• Knowledge of using rigging equipment for material handling.
• Competency in operating press brake machines and power tools.
