Overview

At Eastern Fire, a subsidiary of Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Co., we are looking to add a Service Technician to our team in Auburn, ME. This role specializes in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they function correctly and comply with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install overhead sprinkler piping.
• Install and service valves, devices, and trim.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping, fixtures, and equipment.
• Manipulate pipe to specifications.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.
• Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
• Plan installations or repairs according to the conditions encountered.

Requirements

• Ability to work an unpredictable and ever-changing work schedule.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience preferred.
• Licensed Backflow Tester (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
• Licensed Maine Fire Sprinkler (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
