Global Metal Fabrication is a fabrication shop specializing in various metal works, including structural steel buildings and wastewater treatment facilities. They are seeking a fabricator/welder with experience in aluminum and stair construction, emphasizing teamwork and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Utilize hand and power tools for metal fabrication tasks.
- Perform welding using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Requirements
- Power tool knowledge
- 5 years experience with stairs and railings
- Multi-tasking

- Safe work practices (OSHA 10 hr a plus)

Additional Information
- Normal work week is 4 - 10 hour days from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. some Fridays.
- Work location is in person at Auburn, ME 04210.
