Responsibilities
- Set up and operate resistance spot welders and/or power press.
- Understand and explain the company's Quality Policy.
- Identify and document non-conformances in the Quality Management System.
- Conduct corrective actions and perform problem-solving analysis.
- Maintain housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
- Comply with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Participate in training and educational programs.
- Support company continuous improvement activities.
- Stop work on processes as appropriate to contain defective materials.
- Ensure materials needed are present and request or retrieve them as necessary.
- Position parts against fixtures or stops on machine bed or die.
- Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
- Inspect parts for conformance to specifications.
- Clean machines.
- Pack parts in specified relationships.
- Complete tags to track the flow of product.
- Complete appropriate paperwork and submit it to the team leader.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Information
- This position is for 1st Shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Thursday.
- Location: Cusseta, AL.
- May require early arrival, late stay, or weekend work.
