Responsibilities

• Set up and operate resistance spot welders and/or power press.
• Understand and explain the company's Quality Policy.
• Identify and document non-conformances in the Quality Management System.
• Conduct corrective actions and perform problem-solving analysis.
• Maintain housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in training and educational programs.
• Support company continuous improvement activities.
• Stop work on processes as appropriate to contain defective materials.
• Ensure materials needed are present and request or retrieve them as necessary.
• Position parts against fixtures or stops on machine bed or die.
• Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications.
• Clean machines.
• Pack parts in specified relationships.
• Complete tags to track the flow of product.
• Complete appropriate paperwork and submit it to the team leader.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Information

• This position is for 1st Shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Thursday.
• Location: Cusseta, AL.
• May require early arrival, late stay, or weekend work.
