Lindsay Corporation is a global leader in innovation, providing advanced irrigation, infrastructure, and industrial technology solutions. The Main Panel Welding Technician role involves wire welding on various metals and alloys to meet specific strength and pressure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform wire welding on a variety of metals and alloys for assemblies.
• Conduct spot welding operations on various parts of products.
• Position, align, and fit together fabricated plates, structural shapes, and weldments for assembly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings and take measurements for layout and procedures.
• Must be able to pass a weld test.
• Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Attention to detail and deftness.
• Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
