Overview

The Maintenance Technician position requires a strong technical background in CNC machine repair and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform unsupervised Preventive Maintenance on all machine types.
• Perform complex unsupervised mechanical repairs on machines, pumps, valves, gears, belts, etc.
• Perform complex unsupervised electrical repairs on equipment utilizing proper lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Perform complex hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
• Clean up repair work sites to pre-repair state.
• Perform 5S to maintenance department areas.
• Comply with all Company Safety requirements.
• Enter maintenance work performed against maintenance work orders.
• Maintain 6S condition of the Maintenance department and other work sites.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methods.

Requirements

• 2 years of technical maintenance experience including lathe machine mechanical, some electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
• Working knowledge of electrical prints.
• Working knowledge of mechanical prints.
• Capable of using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometer.
• Capable of using Lathe, mill, welder, plasma cutter, brake, etc.
• Knowledge of Quality ISO procedures and Lean Standard Work.
