Overview

The Maintenance Technician position requires a strong technical background in CNC machine repair and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Perform unsupervised Preventive Maintenance on all machine types.
- Perform complex unsupervised mechanical repairs on machines, pumps, valves, gears, belts, etc.
- Perform complex unsupervised electrical repairs on equipment utilizing proper lockout/tag-out procedures.
- Perform complex hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
- Clean up repair work sites to pre-repair state.
- Perform 5S to maintenance department areas.
- Comply with all Company Safety requirements.
- Enter maintenance work performed against maintenance work orders.
- Maintain 6S condition of the Maintenance department and other work sites.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement methods.
Requirements
- 2 years of technical maintenance experience including lathe machine mechanical, some electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
- Working knowledge of electrical prints.
- Working knowledge of mechanical prints.
- Capable of using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometer.
- Capable of using Lathe, mill, welder, plasma cutter, brake, etc.
- Knowledge of Quality ISO procedures and Lean Standard Work.
