Overview

The Ideal Tridon Group is a leader in clamps, strut, hose supports, conduit, fittings, and coupling solutions, with a strong culture of service and over 100 years of proven quality. Campbell Fittings, part of the Ideal Tridon Group, is currently seeking Machine Operators for 1st shift, requiring prior machine operating experience and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate ferrule production equipment for blanking, rolling, welding, and forming.
• Adjust stock reel to feed material into the blanking machine.
• Use machine controls to make adjustments and change tools on the blanking machine.
• Change mandrels and adjust the table on the roll forming machine.
• Adjust heat, timing, welding gun, and part location on the welder.
• Change dies, spacers, and adjust unloader on the forming press.
• Place blanks into the rolling machine and start the cycle.
• Visually inspect welds and parts for quality.
• Check tooling for damage and excessive wear.
• Dismantle, clean, and replace worn parts on the blanking machine.
• Use a forklift to load and unload coils of material.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tooling.
• Notify the plant manager of tooling wear or breakage.
• Complete daily reporting documents and setup forms.
• Follow all established safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift experience certification a plus.
• Prior machine operator experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
• Comfortable working in a busy open-floor environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
