Overview

The Pipefitter position involves working as a Laborer/Pipe Tradesman on a construction project under P&H Authority, collaborating with skilled journeymen plumbers and various trades. This is a temporary, time-limited, intermittent position that does not provide benefits.

Responsibilities

• Complete work involving demolition, site preparation, and installation of drainage piping.
• Perform ground preparation including digging, grading, backfilling, and leveling.
• Handle materials by loading, unloading, distributing, and organizing storage areas.
• Conduct mobilization, de-mobilization, and clean-up duties at jobsites and storage areas.
• Use common hand tools and operate power tools under supervision.
• Follow infection control guidelines to minimize the spread of particulates during construction.
• Maintain attention to detail to avoid accidents and ensure proper work completion.

Requirements

• Knowledge of infection control guidelines and abatement technology solutions.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical effort.
• Experience in using common hand tools and simple power tools.
