Responsibilities

• Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures.
• Operate various types of welding machines on various materials.
• Use stationary and/or portable grinders and pneumatic chipping hammers to remove excess metal.
• Operate material handling equipment to move parts and materials as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work from drawings, sketches, and templates.
• Comply with TEREX Utilities quality standards to achieve zero defects.
• Promote The Terex Way Values.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
• Perform other functions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and 40-100 lbs with assistance.
• Possess good mechanical aptitude.
• Capable of using most hand tools.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Function as a team member and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to safely operate welding equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

Additional Information

• $3,000 Sign-on Bonus: $1500 paid at 90 days, $1500 paid at 180 days.
