Overview

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is seeking a Skilled Welder to join their Power & Controls division in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom. This role offers an opportunity to enhance skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to advanced solutions for the aerospace and defense industries.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Assemble and test products throughout various stages of manufacturing.
  • Support process improvement initiatives such as 5S, TPM, and quality clinics.
  • Maintain material traceability and meet strict quality control standards.
  • Fabricate and finish aluminium and steel products.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or a similar vocational qualification in fabrication, sheet metal work, mechanical, or engineering.
  • Proficiency with precision tools such as Vernier calipers and measuring gauges.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in hand fabrication and sheet metal work.
  • Proven ability to meet high tolerance standards.
