The Welding Technician III position at Collins Aerospace involves operating various welding equipment to manufacture aerospace components while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Operate welding, soldering, and brazing equipment to manufacture components.
• Work from specifications, sketches, technical orders, and blueprints.
• Perform various welding processes including fusion welding and plasma cutting.
• Ensure documentation is quality compliant and traceable.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in audits of processes and work areas.
• Move parts and materials according to material flow procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

• 1-2 years relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Production welding experience preferred.
• Experience with TIG and aluminum welding preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.

Additional Information

• 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm – 12:00 pm Monday – Friday.
• Training may take place on 1st or 2nd Shift for approximately 3 months.
