Responsibilities

• Interpret detailed engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Assemble and test products throughout various stages of manufacturing.
• Support process improvement initiatives such as 5S, TPM, and quality clinics.
• Maintain material traceability and meet strict quality control standards.
• Fabricate and finish aluminium and steel products.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Pursue ongoing training, including welding certification requirements.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or a similar vocational qualification in fabrication, Sheet Metal Work, mechanical, or engineering.
• Proficiency with precision tools such as Vernier calipers, digital calipers, or measuring gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated experience in hand fabrication and sheet metal work.
• Proven ability to meet high tolerance standards.
• Experience in aerospace, motorsport, or similar industries is advantageous.

Additional Information

• Location: Wolverhampton, United Kingdom
• Position Role Type: Onsite
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts.
• Morning shift: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday).
• Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday).
• Possibility of moving to night shifts with ample notice.
