Overview

Hadrian is a company focused on revolutionizing manufacturing for aerospace and defense industries by building autonomous factories. The Welding Engineering Specialist role involves redefining welding processes through advanced technologies and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Apply specialized welding process knowledge to develop, qualify, and optimize welding operations.
  • Establish and control welding parameters to ensure weld integrity and repeatability.
  • Partner with manufacturing, quality, and automation teams to deploy stable, scalable welding systems.
  • Develop WPS/PQR documentation and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts related to weld defects, distortion, and throughput.

Requirements

  • Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one welding process or system listed in the core specialty areas.
  • Strong understanding of weld metallurgy, heat-affected zones, and defect mechanisms.
  • Ability to read and interpret weld symbols, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Experience working in production environments with a focus on process stability and quality.
