Overview

The Welder IV position involves ensuring welding tasks are completed within specified time frames while adhering to performance, quality, and safety objectives. The role requires operating welding tools, planning operations, and monitoring quality output.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding tools following moderately complex specifications
• Plan the sequence of welding operations
• Monitor and control the welding operations
• Control and adjust the quality of the output in line with blueprints and specifications
• Teach more junior welders
• Detect problems and alert
• Understand and follow all safety requirements and procedures

Requirements

• Professional education and/or apprenticeship with confirmed mechanical skills
• More than 5 years of experience in welding
• Skills in Welding / NDE, Witness Pressure containing welding (Super duplex / Stainless steel), Gas-Metal Arc Processes (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Processes (GTAW)
