The Role ­Working within a skilled team of tradespeople, you will report to the Leading Hands and Workshop Supervisor and be involved in:
Heavy structural fabrication Mining equipment rebuilds and repairs Interpreting engineering drawings Welding across multiple processes Working to high-quality ISO standards ­Standard 38-hour week with regular overtime opportunities available. What We’re Looking For Essential:
Trade Certificate / Certificate of Proficiency Strong fabrication experience MIG welding experience Ability to pass weld qualification test to AS1554.5 Solid understanding of workshop safety Reliable, team-oriented work ethic Desirable (but not essential):
Sub Arc experience Air arc gouging experience High Risk licences (Forklift, Dogging, EWP, Working at Heights) Confined Space This role would suit a Boilermaker who: Takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working on large mining equipment, wants stable, long-term workshop work, is looking to grow their skills in heavy engineering.
