Our team is constantly growing, and we are currently seeking experienced trade qualified Boilermakers & Fabricators to join the team on a permanent basis in the Singleton area.

As an industry leader in the Hunter Valley, Morgan Engineering specialise in General Engineering, CNC Machining, Mobile Line Boring Solutions, Liquid Nitrogen Services & Supply, Weld Reclamation, Caterpillar Service Exchange Components, Light Fabrication, Mobile Milling Solutions and C.A.D. With the growing demand from our valued clients, we have invested in a state-of-the-art heavy fabrication workshop which will now facilitate all off site fabrication work.

About the role
With solid growth and exceptional opportunities within the Hunter region, we are highly motivated to find the right person in terms of experience, skill and passion for excellence to join our team as a Welder/Boilermaker/Fabricator on a permanent, full-time capacity based in the workshop in Singleton,
Essential requirements of the role
AQF Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent or relevant experience Minimum 2 years' experience Demonstrated trades experience working in the mining or manufacturing industry Excellent experience of Fabricating new products from blueprint drawings (i.e) Fabrication of pipe work, chutes & structural structures Excellent knowledge of refurbishment of large mining equipment, large mining excavator buckets, excavator booms and associated mobile mining equipment. Experience in a workshop environment Advanced welding experience, including grinding, cutting (friction and gas), welding (GMAW and MMAW), air arc gouging, polishing, cropping and pressing Experience in using Air arc carbon methods Exceptional safety standards Time management and ability to prioritise competing demands Ability to maintain high work standards with minimal supervision Ability to problem solve and show a high level of initiative Ability to read and interpret drawings Respect for their team Local accommodation or be willing to relocate (within 1hr radius)
